1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Summit Ridge Contracting website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Provided

Summit Ridge Contracting provides professional building repair and renovation services in the Ottawa area. Our services include consultations, quote estimates, site visits, and repair work. Specific services are outlined in individual quotes and project agreements.

3. Quote and Estimate Disclaimer

Quotes and estimates provided on our website are preliminary and based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary based on:

• On-site assessment and conditions discovered during work
• Changes in project scope requested by the customer
• Unforeseen structural or hidden issues
• Material price fluctuations

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

Invoices are due upon receipt unless other arrangements have been made. Payment methods accepted include cash, check, e-transfer, credit card, and debit. A 1.5% fee applies to credit card payments.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for scheduled appointments. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Refunds for completed work are subject to Summit Ridge Contracting's discretion based on work quality and customer satisfaction.

6. Warranty

Summit Ridge Contracting warrants all work performed for a period of 30 days from completion. Warranty covers workmanship defects but does not cover material failure beyond our control or damage caused by misuse or negligence by the customer.

7. Insurance and Liability

Summit Ridge Contracting maintains $2 million in liability insurance. Our services are performed by licensed, insured professionals. However, we are not responsible for damage to existing structures, property, or possessions that occurs as a result of pre-existing conditions or acts beyond our control.

8. Site Safety

The customer is responsible for ensuring the work site is safe and accessible. This includes clearing obstacles, ensuring utilities are properly marked, and providing safe working conditions. The customer assumes all liability for hazardous conditions not disclosed in advance.

9. Intellectual Property

Content on our website, including images, text, and designs, is the property of Summit Ridge Contracting or our content providers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Summit Ridge Contracting be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services or website.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website and services following modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
